ContiSys Scan is an outstanding unit thanks to the large number of vehicles it covers and the many functions it offers. The diagnostic capability covers many models from more than 40 manufacturers, and is ideally suited to the needs met every day in your workshop.

Intro

Fits comfortably in the hand – just right for everyday workshop use. The robust housing and ergonomic shape of ContiSys Scan are perfectly designed to meet workshop needs. The large, high-contrast display also permits easy reading even in poor light. Thanks to its integrated multiplexer and CAN controller, ContiSys Scan permits the diagnosis of a wide range of vehicle models constructed from 1996 onwards simply using the OBD cable supplied with the device. Other connecting cables are available for non-compatible models. Software updates are possible quickly and easily via a CD-ROM from the ContiSys Update Plus software update service.

Update Plus is the optimum software update service that can be purchased with any Service Tool and VDO diagnostic device. This service ensures that your diagnostic device is always equipped with the most recent software.

The updates are made available regularly, and therefore guarantee the highest possible level of flexibility and reliability. And if the user does not want any more updates on expiration of the update period, then the basic operation of the diagnostic device can continue with the currently installed version.
